Rangers Unveil Winter Classic Jersey

A week after the Philadelphia Flyers unveiled their Winter Classic jerseys, the Rangers showed off their red, white and blue Winter Classic sweaters.

In a ceremony held Monday in Central Park that was attended by Brandon Dubinsky, Ryan Callahan, Dan Girardi and Henrik Lundqvist, the team finally debuted their Winter Classic jerseys.

Not much more news on this one. Personally, I dig it. It looks enough like the Rangers’ normal sweater but still adds a new dynamic. I like the trimmed-down version of the Rangers’ logo as well.

It’s hard to find anything to complain about. The vintage white look goes great with the red and blue. It has the same feel the heritage jerseys the Rangers debuted last season has.

The jerseys are a bit of a blend of all the rumored designs, taking the best from each design, even if that wasn’t the case.
